Upfront is an exciting and nerve-wracking project to work towards. Sure, it’s important and high-profile, but on the other hand—it’s also important and high-profile! I designed this presentation working under the direction of the truTV marketing team and Creative Director. Revisions worked their way up to the top of the executive levels. The final deck content includes social media data, charts and graphs, and embeded video.

Worked closely with the incredible team at Bloomberg Media to design an expandable and flexible purpose PowerPoint deck. Sections were created to feature information which ranged between broad, specific, and granular. One of the most smartly directed projects I’ve been proud to be part of, with visual flow and iconography to help lead the viewer along visually.

Metrics research is neither sexy nor always easy to understand, however this small booklet is designed to be both. I created a user-friendly Powerpoint instructional template which could be expanded to include additional programs, all tabbed for convenience. The design incorporates screen grabs, iconography, and numbered callouts, as well as typography usage, limited color palette, and recommended photography.The final product was printed and bound with a keyring, to allow for easy updating and additions.

The digital medium is a great way to combine my experience with corporate, identity, and user design. I designed layout and UI for proprietary dashboard app for Cablevision’s ad sales group. The interface would later be programmed and put into action by the in-house digital team.

Live From Abbey Road was a series/documentary that featured musicians rehearsing and performing at the famous Abbey Road studio, captured on film. Sundance wanted a unique way to share the success story with cosponsor Cadillac. This kit was bound in a metal binder and included multiple tabbed sections as well as episode DVDs.

The Iconoclasts cable series paired contemporary cultural icons with the people who inspired them. After several successful seasons, Sundance wanted to share a follow up with cosponsor Grey Goose. This print and digital kit not only highlighted marketing and advertising, it also featured stats, exclusive photos, and DVDs of the season.

When SUNY Oneonta opened a renovated hall—the college’s largest academic building, and first building to meet LEED certification standards—I was approached to do two entirely different projects for the same space. The first was departmental promotional banners to take advantage of the heavy traffic and high visibility, and touched upon student diversity. I was able to negotiate concepts, changes, and vendor contacts through a multi-person committee in record time (for a committee). The second, was to create a large billboard promoting the college’s graduate department. The billboard was also designed as panels which could be replaced or updated if information changed.

I’ve worked on several trade show booths, however this is definitely the largest and most extravagant. I tag-teamed with another designer, and the New York office had input as well. My primary contribution is to the outer walls, support beam wrap, cubicle surfaces, vending machines, and the signage for annex meeting rooms. I also created the multi-property pattern used in the annex rooms. I really enjoy working with super-sized graphics and creating a visual and spacial brand narrative.

Designed large display board for kindie-rocker “Story Laurie” McIntosh’s appearance at the Farm to Cafeteria Conference. This was used to promote her interactive songwriting workshops, which offer opportunities to engage students in educational topics through music. Laurie is an incredible ambassador of upstate rural life, to kids in NYC and state wide.

Growing up a WB fan, it was a huge thrill to not only work on the Road Runner property, but to bring it into the 21st century with this 3D-film marketing kit. I created the kit from top to bottom, which includes logos, key art, and print and web collateral. It was my job to project manage, as well as hire illustrators for the rendered art. The film itself is one of the best realized, rendered versions of a previously flat cartoon I’ve ever seen. The product is sold to specially-equipped theaters and works as a stationary motion ride or immersive 4D-experience.

Logos shown were created for a variety of client uses including corporate, entertainment, national and local. To me, a logo represents the information of a novel, put onto postage stamp. A distillation of the essence of something possibly large or complex, rendered in a simple form that says what it needs to and works on several different levels.

Simple interactive magazine advertising insert concept. Utilizing the learning aspects of shows on Disney Channel, the idea was to approach sponsors to feature products on back of ad that relate to dial quadrants.

Created identity guide and marketing collateral for the Continuing Education program at SUNY Oneonta.
